Just come as you are, but try to wear something in a solid color that isn’t white. Think about what will stand out against a light background. Keep your hair out of your face so we can clearly see your whole head, and try for a neutral expression – big grins will get the photo rejected.
You might be stressing about getting the proper photos for your little ones, but don’t stress it. Our photographers are super patient and know all the tricks to get a compliant photo, even if your kids aren’t cooperating perfectly.

Our pricing is very straightforward: a standard set of printed passport photos for ages 3 and up costs $17. If you need both printed and digital copies, our Passport Bundle is $24. For babies and infants (ages 0-3), specialized baby passport photos are $30.

Here are a few tips for dressing for your photo:
Avoid white, grey or light colored clothing (it will blend into the white background)
Avoid hats or head coverings (unless for religious or medical purposes)
Avoid sparkly jewelry or jewelry that covers your face
Wear any colors other than white or grey (darker colors are preferred).
Have a neat and tidy appearance. You can dress up formally if you’d like but you don’t have to.
It takes 5 to 10 minutes to get your photos from the moment you walk in the door. If you are coming in a group it will be an additional 5 minutes per person. For kids and babies the photos can take up to 10 minutes longer. To save your time we suggest you book an appointment.
Our Calgary passport photo studio is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. We are closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
We handle everything! This isn't a DIY photo booth. Our trained photographers will take your picture, make sure it meets all requirements, and prepare your prints or digital files for you.
You don't need to bring any specific documentation for us to take your photo. Just bring yourself and anyone else getting photos taken! But if you’re planning on applying for your passport itself right after, you’ll want to bring all the necessary documents for that. We’re located right next to the passport office to streamline the entire process for you.
Your digital photo file will be sent directly to your email address as a jpeg file. We’ll get it sent over right after your photo session, so you’ll have it almost immediately.
